It's Rightfully Mine...

This is yet another late entry to post.

Well, I'm finally gotten the Ownership to my Bedok flat, with effect from 1 August 2006.

Completion was scheduled and done on the 31st July 2006. And I was handed the original ownership letter from HDB through my lawyers on Friday afternoon. It bore the words "Sole-Owner"....

It is a wonderful feeling to be able to have a permanant roof over my head again. And I'm glad that 1 part of this whole house thingy is complete.

Next up:- obtaining a successful Renovation Loan from the bank.

I was rejected for a Renovation Loan from one of the Banks here. I cried and cried and cried. Why did they have to reject my application? No reason(s) were given nor stated. The letter simply bore these words....

" We thank you for your interest in our facility.

The bank had throuroughly assessed the application based on our credit evaluation criteria and wish to inform you that it is uncussessful. We apologise that we are unable to disclose the reason(s) for the unsuccessful applciation as the criterion is confidential to the Bank.

We hope that we can of service to you again.

But, I'll try it again. I'll be sending in my application soon. Why the delay? I haven't had the right time in meeting up with my contractor to get the original quotation.

I hope this next house hurdle would be smooth.....
