Thank you Kris for the lovely dinner you gave Glen & me last Friday. I enjoyed the Avocado Mango Salad, "malay mee goreng" and the Avocado Moouse.
Well, unlike my partner, avocado is not my favourite. Yet, I still had a quarter of it... It's very very smooth and creamy that comes with gula melaka. And if not for the gula melaka, I wouldn't have gone for a third mouth of it. :) My partner had only 1 mouth of it coz she doesn't like it. Quote: "I love Avodado's. But in its original form. Any other form, I don't like." Hahaha.................
I loved Kris company for we haven't met for a while. Either he's busy during the weekends, or when he's home late during the weekdays, he's too exhausted to talk, and would head straight to his comfy bed. Ooohhh.. I miss you, Kris!!!
After we had placed our orders, I waited and waited for the right moment to give the 3rd surprise to Glendan. She was busy talking and talking to Kris that I had a little tiny weeny difficulty in trying to present the gift to her. Till...................................
The arrival of the avocado mango salad and korean brown rice set. She immediately wipped out her camera from her bag and was busy taking the equipment out of its case when I nicely and gently placed the little round wrapped box on the table, in front of her. She looked at me, Silly-Eyed.. I just smiled. Not much words needed to be spoken and she then continued to busy herself with the photo-shoot of organic food galore.
She asked me after a while what was that for. Told her it's her month mah. So, she ought to be pampered with gifts.
She took pictures of it immediately after she has finished her brown rice....
She said what is she gonna give me for my birthday? Told her that she's got another 2 months plus to think about it. Surprise me, darling.. ;P
