Pretty Ones...

I just bought myself 3 stalks of white orchids. I meant to want to brighten up my days and prolong my life on earth.

I have been wanting to buy a stalk or two every week and place them in the office, on my desk. But I'd usually only receive bouquets from friends and suitors who would try to cheer me up for various reasons - some would be sent for the purpose of thanking me for being there for them when they needed a listening ear or simply, just for the company (well, I had to forgo some sleep and drink myself almost silly with Bombay Shappire on a couple of occasions... and these would be called Bombay nights....)

The initial vase that I have in the office was brought home coz I had thought of resigning. (didn't want to carry too much stuff on my last day of work / as & when I am being dropped a bomb..) So, after thinking for months, I've finally gotten another "vase" - that comes in the form of a coke bottle. My partner bought 4 bottles of it from Seng Shiong supermarket 4 weekends ago (4th from left...) and guess what?? They cost only S$0.45 per bottle!!


And after having the coke lying in the office for a week, I've finally decided to spruce things up a little, I bought 3 stalks of white orchids. So, aren't they pretty??
