1st Batch of Minis....

These were the Mini Muffins I made - 50 of them, to be sold in a primary school canteen. Delivered last night, for the upper and lower primary school kids today. Some were to be sold for breakfast too.

I received a call at around 11+am earlier. It was from my friend whom I delivered the Minis too. She just simply said, "Sayang!! Your muffins, all GONE!! I need more!! The kids went crazy over the chocolate chips!! I need you to make more tonight and deliver tomorrow night, ok??"

I just got more stock for flour, vanilla essence, sugar and eggs. And I'll be heading out soon, to buy more of the Mini cups..

Baking tonight, Delivering tomorrow....

Yahooooo.....!!!

A Day in the Land of the Free Spirits...

Ok, back to work today.

There’s absolutely nothing for me to do in the office today, so, basically I was like “shaking legs”. I’ve only seen my boss for a total of like, 3 minutes today and spoken to him for like 30 seconds, all in all, for today.

While I was observing the going ons in the office and in my department, I noticed that Cheapolina is still at her chatting on the phone sessions, her boss is sick and down with the flu, my boss is recovering from the flu, another partner is also down with the flu, Cheapolina and another colleague are the BESTest of friends for today, having little intimate conversations on the phone and heading out for lunch together.

Next, I went over to the accounts department asking if monies were being paid for a particular file. But accounts cum admin manager said no monies received. Thereafter, she proceeded to teach me how to press a certain part of my hand using a certain part of my finger and at which certain 90 degrees and assert a certain amount of pressure, release and do the same steps again for about 30 times, on both hands and doing it everyday and thereafter, I’ll not be having the flu for the next couple of months. Hmm… I think I am the BESTest of employee for now.

Here’s a little treat from my office pal.. Teh Tarik from Ah Moy Street…..

Enjoy……………

Not Again!! Damnit..

I was recovering nicely from my blot of flu from last week when I unknowingly caught it again yesterday. Why?? Coz my boss hasn't recovered from his. And oh my gosh!! His germs are so POWERFUL!! It has infected the other litigators as well.
I was kept awake the whole of last night coz of my sneezing, blowing and dripping of the mucus. I really wanted to amputate my nose!! Sorrie, guppy.. I had to jolt you from your sleep every few minutes to pass me the tissue paper. :P
I had to go in to the office - and if it still persists, then I'll be heading straight to the companys' doctor, again. I was almost "dying" even before I left home. What more I had to stand in the train. Urghh.. It's terrible.. TERRIBLE!!
Guppy knew I was moody and sick, of course. And she didn't try to talk too much too me, coz I wouldn't be listening to her at all. We both just kept quiet and "enjoyed" the ride to work.
After breakfast of my usual chee cheong fun, I headed straight to the doctors. What a long queue there was. But, no choice lah... I had to queue and get my medication and medical certificate, head directly home thereafter, take my medication and sleep.....
Boss didn't sound unhappy when I called him from the office before I left for home. He had called earlier and Cheapolina told him I was at the doctors. I had expected him to call me, but he didn't. Anyways, he said that I should recover very soon coz he's got an upcoming trial and his Saudi Arabia project coming along..
Sigh.. If he doesn't recover, how can I recover??
I need the rest. I need the medication. I need to RECOVER!!!
I'm feeling tired and drowsy now.. So, I'll take my leave and plop onto my bed....
Ta!

A Blast from the Past...

Guppy and I went to Ikea Tampines over the weekend together with another couple. They needed to get some household items as well as some furnishings.

While gupy and I were browsing the store and interior decorations, I came aross this!! A TURN-TABLE!!

Oh my gosh..!! I've not seen these lying around for the last 10 years. I remember during my secondary school days, turn-tables were still the IN thing. You see them in clubs and such. And the records would also be displayed for sale in the shops. But ever since the compact disc took over the world, records and turn-tables pretty much didn't have their stand on the ground anymore....
So, what's next? After the CD's, MD's and DVD's??

Going Nutty...

I'm on leave today and I met a friend for lunch around my neighbourhood. Thereafter, we proceeded to Raffles City. She had to get her free gifts from Origins and I bought myself a tube of Origins Never A Dull Moment - Skin brightening face cleanser with fruit extracts.

Next Stop:- Donut Factory @ Raffles City Basement

There were, yes, a queue of like 15-20 people ahead of us. Yet, we both decided to join in the queue for the donuts (since both of us are sooo free today, loh..) Hahaa.. After about 40 mintues or so of queuing, we finally placed our orders of a box of 6 for me and a box of 6 and 12 respectively for her cousin and herself.

I ordered, Hazelnut Mixed Chocolate, Kaya White Chocolate, Double Chocolate, White Strawberry Heart, Lotus Mocha and Apple Cinnamon.

Hmmm... Now, the best thing to relax and idle the next hour or so away, was to head over to Starbucks at Orchard Building. My friend collected her empty carton boxes and we downed our donuts with caffine, while admiring her new car and chatting away about the clouds over and above us and not forgetting the pigeon's shit splattering all over. Hahaha..

Okay, I tried the Double Chocolate from my friend's box of 12 and it was good. It wasn't too sweet and the dark and white chocolate oozed and melted in my mouth. It's light and fluffy and not oily. I like it. The donuts that I've tried in the past are oily and tough, and I didn't want to have to feel like I'm drinking a pot of oil. And it would make me stop at one piece. Well, next one to try would be the one at Takashimaya Basement - recommended by my buddy, that has a denser and more textured taste. I'm sure her recommendation wouldn't disappoint. :D

As for my friend's comments, she said she'd prefer Krispy Kreme's Doughnuts. And it's a pity that no one has brought the franchise over to Singapore, yet...

Alright then.. We'll be having some donuts for supper this late evening..

Tuck In!!!

My Oven Mitt and My Chocolate Chip Muffins..

I used my new White orka® silicone oven mitten from Mastrad to take out the hot tray of sweet smelling chocolate chip mufifns this afternoon from my oven.

And true to their word, the mitten is good at protecting intense heat for up to 300°C. I'll be getting another pretty soon as I would need 2 of them to hold the tray.

I've also gotten my 1st batch of orders of these muffins for next Sunday, after my customer tried it this evening. I've gotten the tumbs up for them and to a non-muffin eater, 1 of them actually had 2 of them earlier, prior to dinner.

And if it sells off well during the next couple of days thereafter, I'll be getting regular orders from her on a weekly basis.

Yahoooooooooooooo... !!!

What a Hot Day..!!

This is one of the worst days in my category of Worst Days of my Living Life..
1st, it was guppy. 2nd it was mummy.
When I thought that baking my muffins for my prospective regular buyer, would be therapeutic heal me a little after the episode with guppy this early after non after throwing her temper while cooking lunch and at me for the bloody batteries for my battery-operated toothbrush, mummy came and poke her mouth right at my one and only unsuccessful attempts at the honey muffins which occurred about a month plus ago.

Inconsiderate souls...

For those who take the public transport to work or play, you would have obviously noticed that at some point or other, you find yourself in a crowded train carriage.
Then, there are people who would be stading around and trying their best to either go to the centre of the carriage to give way to others for standing space. Then, there are others who would just stand in the way by blocking the door.
There are also some who, knowing that its a crowded carriage, would plonk and stick their whole body against the metal pole. Now, these are the people that I'm talking about. No common sense!! Do without the handles hanging over-head. While they may already be taken, but the pole isn't.
These nim-skulls wouldn't be bothered to let other passengers hold the poles for balancing. Even when you were to say, "Excuse me, do you mind? I need to hold on to the pole", they would either give you a "Do I care?" kinda look, or they would just simply ignore you and continue to have some sort of sex with the pole. Hahaa...
I would definately understand if the carriage is not crowded. That you would want to lean against the pole for pleasure. But, not when the carriage is crowded!!
What if someone falls and hurt themself?? Who is gonna be responsible for the cuts and bruises?? It's just basic courtesy and knowledge to not lean agains the pole.. You're not doing a pole-dance number... You're just taking the train ride to work or play. You don't have to make everyone else's trip miserable.
And courtesy doesn't just come during the courtesy month.
It's how you cultivate these simple kind and thoughtful gestures into your everyday life.
So, if you are guilty of it, then reflect on it and think for others.
If you are not guilty of it, then speak aloud to those you see doing that, and shame them.....

Are You an Extrovert? Or an Introvert??

You Are 40% Extrovert, 60% Introvert

You're a bit outgoing, a bit reserved. Like most people, you enjoy being social. But you also value the time you have alone. You have struck a good balance!

What's Your EQ??

Your EQ is 133

50 or less: Thanks for answering honestly. Now get yourself a shrink, quick!

51-70: When it comes to understanding human emotions, you'd have better luck understanding Chinese.

71-90: You've got more emotional intelligence than the average frat boy. Barely.

91-110: You're average. It's easy to predict how you'll react to things. But anyone could have guessed that.

111-130: You usually have it going on emotionally, but roadblocks tend to land you on your butt.

131-150: You are remarkable when it comes to relating with others. Only the biggest losers get under your skin.

150+: Two possibilities - you've either out "Dr. Phil-ed" Dr. Phil... or you're a dirty liar.

Ushering In a New Course...

I've just registered myself for a Art & Science of Foundation Cake Baking course due to start in late February 2007. I'm just waiting for them to call me up and confirm placing.
I've always liked baking, but didn't have a oven then. So I had to wait. And now that I have it, I want to learn more.
I can bake muffins and cookies now. And I'm currently taking orders for muffins. But, that's not enough. I need to know and learn more, to understand and then to practice and better myself from there.
I cook too. But I'm not as great a cook as compared to Guppy. And Guppy isn't crazy about baking. But she'll do well in being my assistant.
I don't have to set up my own cafe. And just like my buddy Catherine, we both love baking. We also love baking in the night. Hahah.. And guess what?? She's setting up her online bakery soon and have been taking orders by word of mouth for a couple of months already. I've ordered fruit cakes, cup cakes and the chocolate garnache mousse cake from her. And they are good!!!
I won't be in competition with Catherine in any way coz we have our own different groups of frineds. I've also spoken briefly to Catherine about this and she's ok with it. Competition is everywhere. Anyways, I have a full time job. So, I can't be as intense as Catherine.
Well, if Guppy realises her dream, I'll definately be the one who supplies her the yummies..
In the meantime, please do not hesitatate to contact me for Catherine's mobile phone number to place your cake and all the other yummies orders.
Or you can call me to place your muffin orders.

Germies.. & an Episode...

I caught the flu from my boss.. He has been going in and out Singapore, and with little rest even when he's back. A usually strong man, he finally fell ill. And despite the fever and all, he would still come into the office for meetings. He even felt like fainting yesterday.
I was already having a sore throat since Tuesday and sneezing since yesterday. And this morning, I started having the flu.....
I was asked by a spy and a runner from the firm to go see the doctor. My receiptionist, even asked me to take 2 days MC. Nah, I can't do that. My boss is already on Medical Leave for today and tomorrow and I'm gonna be on leave on Monday. So, nah... Just today would be fine. But if it gets worse tomorrow, then I'll just hop over across the road to the opposite block to check out the doctor at the 24-hour clinic.. The infamous YSL clinic...
Ok, now, let me tell you a true story.. It's not funny and it happened just this afternoon...
I took the train home from Raffles Place. I know I should be taking the cab since my nose was giving me the run. But, nah.. I wanted to buy lunch home from the Interchange and if I took a cab home, it would be inappropriate.
Anyways, while in the train, a Indian mad woman boarded the train from dunno which station. She was holding a copy of the TODAY paper and wearing a red printed tee shirt and red printed bermudas. She was also bare-footed.
She then said aloud to someone, "Excuse me sir, is it 11.30am yet??" But naturally, no one answered her. Then, she asked a Malay woman sitting at one of the corner door seats (not the 2 seater kind..) if this train goes to City Hall (the train is bounded to Pasir Ris and we're already leaving Bugis station). Hmmm.. Now, i think the Indian woman boarded the train at City Hall itself. But she didn't realise it.
Anyways, back to the, "if this train goes to City Hall". The Malay woman told her nope it's not, it's the other train for the opposite direction. Then the Indian woman started to make some weird noises and at the same time attempting to talk to the Malay woman, in Malay mixed Tamil... Thereafter, Indian woman stood at the door. And before the train reached Kallang Station, she fell and fainted!! She was having FITS!!
Someone rushed to her side and also to press the button to stop the trian. Another lady in Orange tee went to help the Indian woman. Another Malay woman said 1st cabin no. ____ (nope, I'm not stating the number here.. I want to strike 4D and TOTO one.. Cannot give golden numbers out.. Nah Nah.. Nope!!)
The train was about to close its doors, but the driver of the train only did so, after he got the message from one of the ladies, whilst the Orange tee lady tried to pull the Indian woman out of the train. She also raised her voice to someone to help her carry the Indian woman out. Then 2 staff from Kallang Station came on and helped the Indian woman.
I think a pen was placed in between the Indian woman's mouth. There wasn't much panic. But you know lah, most people wouldn't be bothered at all. I truly wanted to help, but I was blowing my nose and I was having a fever at the same time.
The 2 staff carried the Indian woman out to the platform and then one of them came back in to unlock the system so that the train doors would be able to close. I turned to look at the Indian woman lying outside, she was trembling slightly, wondering if there were any identification papers on her, to contact her next of kin..
I do hope the Indian woman is fine now.. Not only is she mentally unsound, bare-footed, but she was sick..
Thank you to the quick thinking women, on board the train this afternoon who helped this Indian woman..... A bow to the 3 of you!!!

The Night is Alive..

Guppy and me caught a 9.20pm movie at GV Tampines Mall today. The pair of free passes were complimentary from my brother. Well, he couldn't make it to catch it with his girlfriend, Jasmine, nor was he able to sell them off, so he gave them to me after I whined after him a couple of times.
Night At The Museum
It's a comedy, starring Ben Stiller as the main character, Larry... Blah Blah Blah.. Guppy and I were both laughing our guts out..
"Dumb Dumb.... I want to eat Gum Gum"
"No, I'm not your Dumb Dumb, you DumbHead"
"Yes, Yes, you are Dumb Dumb.. Now give me my Gum Gum"
LOL....
Those were the main words that got us both laughing till the monkeys cried (eh, got linkage meh?? hahah..)
Anyways, this would be our main teaser for the next 10 years...
Comprendo, Dumb Dumb??
Chew on some Gum Gum first, Dumb Dumb...
See ya later, Dumb Dumb..... :P

Bubble's Talk...??

What would Bubble have said to Guppy??

Could it be something like this??

I know Guppy would have her tears running down her cheeks, but, be brave my love, I'm sure Bubble is happy and independent. With that little mischevious and grouchy look, she would have had tons of friends knowing that she is just simply harmless....

Now I lay me down to sleep,

The single-sized bed is soft and deep...

I sleep right in the center groove

My human can hardly move!

I've trapped her legs, she's tucked in tight

And here is where I pass the night

No one disturbs me or dares intrude

Till morning comes and "I want food!"

I sneak up slowly to begin

My nibbles on my human's chin.

She wakes up quickly, I have sharp teeth

And my claws I will unsheath

For the morning's here and it's time to play

I always seem to get my way.

So thank you Lord for giving me

This human person that I see.

The one who hugs me and holds me tight

And sacrifices her bed at night.

A Little Poem for Bubble and Guppy...

I know my Guppy had a Cat
And Bubble was her name.
I know Bubble is an angel
For Bubble watches over Guppy.
Shyly when Bubble's eyes were shining
At night, when Guppy can't see.

I know Bubble is an angel
For Bubble's ears protect Guppy's sleep.
A creak, a squeak, a footfalll
At any noise, Bubble will leap.

I know Bubble is an angel
For she curls up at Guppy's side.
A warning to intruders
That it's best to run and hide.

I know Bubble is an angel
For although she hasn't any wings.
Guppy is safe and warm beside her
Wrapped in all the love Bubble brings.

It's Small, It's Kiddy!!

I was at Vivo City with Guppy the other day when we headed to GAP to check out some clothes.. Walk Walk Walk.. See see Touch touch.. Blah Blah...

Then we ventured into the kids section. There, I spotted a pair of Kid's Boots. And I obviously tried them on. And yes...... I can fit into them!!

It's not expensive as compared to the adults ones and the design is very simple.. Something that I've been looking for.. But as of now, I do not need a pair of boots/shoes at this moment, coz it's raining, Raining, RAINING!! So, I reluctantly left it back there, waiting for a spoilt brat to try it on and beg their mommys' to buy it for them - and in another couple of months, their feet would outsize that pair of boots and they would be discarded away like trash.......

Wait for me, Okie, Booties.......... I'll definately be back!!

Relieved...

For the past week, I've been having problems with my Audio something. My speakers are fine - been tried and tested. Start and Shut Down, MSN beepers, theres sounds to all.. Except for my iTunes, playing CD and watching movies..
I tried a couple of ways, but to no avail....
Then, my brother suddenly appeared at my place this morning. And I don't know why I woke up early. Oh Yeah!! I'M ON LEAVE TODAY!!! Hahaha.. I'm clearing my 2006 leave. And since I can't take them all at one go, I broke them up, taking them once a week on every Monday, so that I won't have to suffer the ever so famous, MONDAY BLUES.. Hahaha..
So, I told my bro about the problem that I have with my Audio dunno what thingy. And after a few minutes, I heard music coming out from the speakers, while I was trying to go back to sleep in my room......
YEAHhhhH!!!
Thanks, bro...

How Girly Are You??

Am I this 56% Girly???
Inded I'm a little Girly.. But I'm definately not a Girly Girl..
I like to wear skirts and I totally look good in them.. Coupled with a nice and sexy gait (if the skirt is short and I'm wearing heals...), but I hardly wear them. Cos I'm lazy to sit cross-legged and I hate peeping toms peeping and those sickies, trying to do a upskirt shot...
I like to wear some v-neck tops or some see-thru material tops.. But, I'm ohhhh sooo tired of men trying to "undress" me mentally..
Haha.. So, the easiest and the safest are pants or jeans. Polo-tees or shirts....
And yes, this little test is quite ME....

You Are 56% Girly
You're a little girly, a little boyish, and probably a whole lot indie. You have your own unique style, and it pretty much defies gender lines.

How Girly Are You?

What Should I Name You??

I don't know what to call this. But of course they're chocolate muffins. Just that I don't know what name should I give to this coz I put in alot of stuff, ie. flavouring and ingredients..

Let's see...

There are, flour, butter, milk, sugar, baking soda, cocoa powder, gound almonds, raisins, chocolate chips, vanilla esssence, rum essence and not forgetting, I topped it off with a coat of chocolate....

YUMMIEeeeeeee......

Thank you, buddy baker aka Catherine... (She gave me the measurement for the cocoa powder..) :)

A Favour Extended...

My ex liaison asked me for a favour the other day. Shhhh.. Cannot tell anyone, okie.. Haha..
Perhaps she was lazy, or perhaps she was resting as much as she can - she's nursing a flu and a cut in her inner thigh which screamed for 3 stiches. But I did her this favour, anyway. And of course, not forgetting that I've got a better eye as compared to her in such matters. Hehheheee..
Guppy and I got her a tub of Body Butter and Lippy Gloss from The Body Shop. Something that she likes and would use. Anyways, all of us got the Birthday girl presents.

My baker buddy baked the birthday cake - Chocoalte Ganache Moouse Cake.. I didn't take pictures of it coz there were too many gals there.

I made a new friend and met many others. This new friend, is 10 years younger than me (who incidentally, is of the same age as my younger brother!!). She's in SIM - Bachelor of Arts, Communications...

And the bunch of gals there aren't the noisy and barbaric kind. It's the quietest bbq chalet that I've been to. And they are all friendly, except for one or two who seem to want to have a say in almost everything. But overall, they're a bunch of nice gals!!

A Little Bonus..

My boss owed me money - $42.60.. I developed his passport photographs for his visa to Saudi Arabia and $30 for his cab fare.

So when he got back from Saudi, he remembered and asked me how much he owed me. Anyways, I got it back like 2 days after he came back.

And you know what? He gave me an extra $50.00.... Sooo nice.. A little Bonus for me..

Thanks, Boss!!

Titles Are Made Of These...

My boss, and especially his wife are quite superstitious and take Fengshui seriously.

So, from November 2006, I became a Carpenter – knocking and putting up hooks and hanging up some framed pieces of jade in some formation or other. Thereafter, I became a Gardener, having to change the water in his money-plant on alternate days.

And for the month of December 2006, I was a Part-Time Cleaner tasked to clear up his work desk (which was like having little mini-mountains stacked with papers and magazines, plastic folders and more papers including the open concept shelves in his room.

Lastly, 3 days ago, I became Nanny – having to feed him daily dosages of his vitamins of 1 tablet each.

I’ve a busy and interesting life here in the office, besides being a Para-Legal cum PA. A changed man that he is, having to fly over to Saudi Arabia and Dubai during the weekends for work, investments and projects. Eh, I’m thinking of putting it across to him to fly me over too and be a part in the upcoming project – with all expenses paid. I don’t mind working on the letters and agreements and contracts. Good way to meet the BIGGIES in those places to expand my knowledge and see the world and learn their culture. Not forgetting, a bigger and fatter renumeration........ Yeah Yeah Yeah!!

So, Mr Boss…. Can I be part of the Overseas Projects team??

New Flavour...

I tried a new recipe last weekend - Raisin with Orange Zest Drizzle Muffin...

I gave some to our friends at GZ to try and also to the Birthday girl. They all liked it. Most of them like the bottom of it, coz that's where all the raisins are.. Wahhahaa..

I don't know why didn't the raisins raise to the middle or to the top and I don't know why the mixture was watery and not thicker. I would only be able to ask my Buddy (who incidentally is a baker) for her advise.
I can only bake little by little. Though I'm ambitious in wanting to bake lots of yummies, but, I know I'll learn them slowly and surely. I'll do reading up and improve slowly. And I'll succeed slowly...

Disturbing...

This entry is about our beliefs (religion).
I apologise to anyone who would get offended reading this entry.
Well, here goes...........
I'm PISSED. BIG TIME!!
I've noticed for the longest time that religions do exist. And it doesn't matter what religion you believe in. As long as you have the heart to know that your own God exists, you're doing well.
We do not have to offers our prayers many times a day, nor, do we have to open mouth, close mouth, speak about our religion. We do not even have to try asking our partners to believe on our religion. Different people from different religions do come together and make as one. And that boils entirely down to how you feel for your partner - LOVE.
So what if you were to pray 10 times a day? Would that make you a Pure and Holy Person?? I, for one, do not head down to the Temple regularly, nor do I pray at home everyday. But I do believe that my God exists and he/she does well in what they preach and teach. I'm sure they look after me and wish me well in all that I do.
Now.. What pissed me off BIG TIME was that there are some people who offers their prayers all the time - a couple of times a day. But it doesn't make them a more Pure or a more Holy person. Why?? Because they would still Bad-mouth people, Back-Stab people and Hurt others. Some take drugs, some kill and some start fires to others houses.
So, where does the Forgiveness come in? One may have sinned and would sincerely want to repent. But for those, who after speaking to their God, at the very next minute, they start their gossiping and back-stabbing again. Where's the Goodness? Does it make them feel good coz they prayed to God? What happens next?
Do they really think God is Blind?? He sees us. He feels us. He knows what we do.
Would you really be Forgiven??
I'm not Pure. I'm not Holy. But I TRY to be Better. And I do get Better. And I know my God knows I'm definately better than most others. And I can vouch for that.

Tell Me The Time...

I received an sms last night from my buddy. Her message went like this, "Why so long no blog?"

So, I'm updating my blog now... Heehhee...

I was feeling bored at home. Hence I suggested that we go out - to Mustafa Centre... That was the 2nd January 2007.

Mummy dearest decided to come along too coz she said she's never been to Mustafa Centre before. I told her to be careful and not be molested by the Indian men and such.. Hahaha....

We walked and strolled and laughed. Mummy picked up many tidbits items. We bought many other toiletries. So much so that we had to deposit the items at the deposit counter outside and hop back in thereafter. Mummy then asked us to walk by ourselves and she would catch up later.
I bought myself a watch!! Hahaha..

It's actually a belated Birthday present from a friend. There isn't any time frame imposed. So I took my time to pick and choose and choose and look for I couldn't decide what I wanted and when I finally did - an antique watch, it has already been sold away a couple of weeks later. So, since the antique watch was finally gone, I decided to walk around Mustafa and pick something from there. Guppy and I spotted a watch from Kenneth Cole and of course, it was nice. But just before we went off to pay for it, Guppy did a Quality Check on it and found the leather not of a superior quality - it had tiny bubbles on the leather strap and when bent, there was a plasticky/waxed feel and look to it. Hence, the Kenneth Cole was dropped.... Next, we looked at some other stuff when I noticed Nautica!! We snaked our way over to the counter and I spotted one that I liked!!! I got the sales assistant to bring out the watch for me to try - it was Perfect! The leather strap was soft and the color was cooling to our eyes. And since I didn't have a watch with a white face, it was a good choice. We got the sales assistant to write us the pink slip and Guppy went off to pay for it while I stood there waiting for her to come back. An extra hole was punched and it was then nicely kept and placed in its respective box.

I hugged my prized possession dearly for life while we continued our shopping. It took me so long to find something, and I was not about to risk having it stolen, or else, I'd have to continue looking for another one again........ hehheee

Anyways, don't you think it's NICE???

Clap Clap Clap!!

Yeah!!!

New Year's Eve..

It was the last day to exchange my $30 voucher from CK Tang & Glendan and Me headed to Civo City by cab before they closed at 5pm. We chose 7 panties from Triumph in approximately 10 mins and proceeded to walk around.

What was to be a "Panty Day" became a shopping day for us, or rather for me, or for Glen, or for just us.. Heeheee.. Anyways, the rest of the shopping list was this:-

  1. Body Butter (The Body Shop)
  2. Chocolates (The Chocolate Factory)
  3. Novels (King's Bookshop)
  4. Pants (Mango)
  5. Knitted Top (Zara)
  6. V-neck Tees and Zipped Tee (U2)
  7. Floor Cleaner (BIG)

Dinner was at Habourfront Centre - Spizza (coz we were famished...............) The faster we filled our empty tummies, the better. :)

It was a yummy dinner and we shared everything we ordered, except for the Cranberry Juice which I ordered for myself. Glendan had warm water, to calm her cramps.

Thereafter, We both lugged our precious purchases from the malls of Vivo City to Grey Zone Bar. And after the Countdown to 2007, both of us together with our friends CC and Kass, headed to Croc Rock to continue the night away. And how could we forget supper?? Wahaha.... We all walked to Newton Circus from Far East Plaza and only reached home at around 5am on the 1st day of January 2007.................

Free Stuff All Around...

30 December 2006

Guppy and I attended one of her supplier's companys' Dinner & Dance.

We got welcome gifts (Date and Time Clock), hand-drawn Cartoon Portrait of me & of course, 5 Orchids (stolen by us)...

We exchanged laughter and giggles. We watched and participated in games. We also watch our very own Kumar performing LIVE!! And our hearts went out to Kumar and his 2 co-performers coz no one in the company seemed to know who on earth is KUMAR!! They're mostly foreigners - Malaysian's and Bangala's... So, whenever Kumar cracked a joke, no one laughed (and it wasn't coz everyone was busy eating.. They just didn't GET IT!!)...

We walked all the way up, and stood next to the stage just to give Kumar some support - That he's not a NOBODY and we do know him. But too bad lah, he didn't realise that we 2 blackies were standing there rooting for him.. I wanted to take his picture off-stage but, he seemed to be in such a hurry after his 2nd number (to leave this horrid ballroom) that we were not able to speak to him at all. But we managed to snap this picture of him in action though. I know it's not the best nor can we see him up close, but it's really KUMAR loh..........!!

Anyways, we enjoyed ourselves and not forgetting, we got FREE STUFF!!

Woo Hooo!!
